Purchased : Engine gasket set, Front & Rear brakes, Rectifier, Missing or rusted bolts, Lights for Speedo/Tachometer, Oil filter and Cable luber.
I also picked up a cargo net to hold my extra helmet so I won't get caught in a downpour with no protection for my face.
Next we decided to check out Wal Mart for anything usefull for the bike, found a battery for a reasonable price. I also found some jewel glue to possibly attach some jewels to my helmet and some fabric to use as a stencil for my paint technique.
I took my rear fender to the plastics place thinking it would be an easy job, just soften the plastic and pull it back into shape. Sadly they wouldn't even try it, they sent me to a fiberglass place thinking they could make a whole new one for a reasonable price, not sure if they know what I think a reasonable price is. I decided it couldn't hurt to go talk to the guy, he seemed to revel in the challenge and said he would try and fix it, if it works he said it would be less than $80 if it doesn't he wouldn't charge me anything. I will find out on Wednesday if he is able.
I decided since painting was on hold for a day or two I needed something else to work on, so with Marks help I went to the garage and removed the rear wheel and foot peg brackets. I also picked up the front fork emblem.

The foot peg bracket was the first thing that I attacked once I was home. Another round of sanding, sanding, polishing, polishing and waxing. My hands could only handle doing one. I will do the other one tomorrow night.

The fork emblem was the last thing on my list of things to do today. Repainted the black background and repainted the HONDA silver.
